I had been waiting impatiently for my J2 Robot -- which is a complete robot by J2R Scientific that is ready to run out of the box.

Another new application for controlling your WowWee Rovio has hit the scene.  Developer and community member Andreas, of ewe-software, has created his own application called RovioDirect.  RovioDirect is designed to be used on Windows based PC's, and is an excellent substitute for the web-based application - it even adds several features.

This is the electroluminescent wire mod that I'm doing on my Roboquad. We got the EL wire from VibeLights, in both blue and purple, along with a mini-inverter power supply. I have also changed the fore and aft animation LEDs to blue, and the outboard face LEDs to yellow.
