Range Problem

The range on my dragonfly seems to be stuffed me and my brother got one for xmas his works fine but mine has a range of 5 cm, if i take the controller close the wings flap but if i take it 5cm back it wont FLAP! i got the antenna, its fully charged and ive looked through the FAQ and manuals can anyone help?

Check to make sure the antenna is fully inserted and screwed into the controller. Without the antenna the range is practically nothing. Also, that anetenna telescopes out and it works a lot better when its extended.

It's also possible that something around you is causing a lot of interferance, take it someplace else and see if it improves.

To anyone who suddenly runs into the same problem.

I suddenly just had the same problem as the original poster. Power everything up and the Dragonfly won't respond if it's not super close. I just changed the batteries out with fresh ones and it was fine. So just because the controller turns on doesn't mean the batteries aren't low. You'll have to take them out and test them to be sure.
