Help Please

Hi,

I hope someone can help me. I recently bought a secondhand ( mint condition) Robosapien V2. I lobe him - absolutely brilliant.

I guess i must have used him for about 2 hours. He started doing strange things, not following my instructions.

1st he kept saying " i need to upright for this" even though he was.

upon turning him on he now doesn't do the full initial movement.

He also is saying that " user error" or " i think i have a bad motivator"

He is also saying things like brain batteries low and currently he is doing nothing at all when i turn him on.

I think i need to do full rechange on batteries as these one are not mine. What do you experts think. I am no mechanic so don't wnat to have to take him apart.

Whats the diagnosis? what do i need to do?

Please help me

HI JAMES,first you take the chest off, and then you see the screws on the inside
for removing the back.when the body is fully open youl see some green,
circuitbourds with al whiring conectors, transistors.in different colors.
undo the conectors ( male other female )spray in it with the CONTACT CLEAN ,
and over the circuitbourds.there is sometime a lot of dirt on it that you ,
can not see, then let it dry for one hour.in that time check for bad whiring.
insulation of the whiring.also use good batteries from 1.5 volt ,not the ,
rechargeble.they are to light and to low on power.see the link of freddy above.
take your time.take out the batteries before you start.just open the body and see .you can do it.

Your diagnosis is that your wires are bad and shorting out. You will have to replace all your bad wires. A common RSV2 problem you should fix before your bot ignites itself on fire. I warn you that you should take out the batteries immediately to be safe.
