First of all, the fact that it runs on Linux is the reason I'm interested in this robot. From seeing it in stores it looks about as good as wind up toys in the 60's as far as movement goes.
However it runs Linux, that means I can do some cool things with it
However, the manuals don't say how the kernel be upgraded to newer versions as they come out. Can I add my own software (that is compiled onto the arm processor?).
I did compare the 2 manuals of the RS Media and the RS V2.
As it comes to the specification of the sensors and how the operate the 2 mauals are exactly the same. Even the way it was writed is exactly the same. The only diffrence is that is the RS V2 is tracking green he know thisis his ball. The Rs Media doesn't seem to have this.
The body movements and vision and hearing is the same. The same is the puppetmode.
The big diffrence is the programming and the use of the controler. The bottons are diffrent.
How much megapixels has the camera of Robosapien Media?
I think it's cool they're going to be adding a LCD display. Any ideas on what it's going to be used for? Will it play video?
How many personalities does it have? Can you create new ones yourself and load them into the robot?
